This week's blog was added because the author wanted to make a video to present the project he had created. This blog will talk about editing and choosing the editing program, adjusting the sound and writing the dialogue in the video.

writing a script

The writing of the dialogue in the video should be divided into points. The author has divided the topics into 5 points as follows:

  1. Introductory story

  2. General content

  3. Core algorithm (main part of the game)

  4. References

  5. Gameplay

When writing an intro, you should say what the project is about and talk about the purpose of the video. When finished, the speaker will go to the overview. In the speech, the speaker must cover the whole topic, whether it is the operation of various mechanics, but do not go into depth because the speaker will go into more detail in the next section. In the Core algorithm section, the speaker should go into more detail about what was just discussed. For example, the speaker mentioned that the Perlin Noise function was used in the Overview. In the Core algorithm, the speaker should explain what Perlin Noise is used for and how, and show how it works. In the References section, the speaker must talk about the references that the speaker used in this project, whether it is a tutorial video, the program, or even the website where the font was downloaded. Then, provide Harvard-style references. Finally, the speaker might say thank you to those who watched the video and then cut to gameplay or how the program works.

How To Make A Video

Figure 1: Video editing process using Davinci Resolve to combine audio and visuals, demonstrating steps in creating a video tutorial.

The first step is to record the audio. The creator chose to use the Audacity program to record the audio. When speaking according to the script and recording the audio, it will be time to edit the video. To edit the video, the creator uses a program called Davinci Resolve, which is a user-friendly video editing program. In editing, graffiti may be used in the form of letters to make it easier for the audience to understand. Do not forget to include the code image and the display that the creator has created to make the audience understand better. When everything is done, render the video.

Polishing A Video

Figure 2: Using ElevenLabs AI audio platform to generate realistic speech, addressing language barriers and improving voice clarity for video projects.

In making the video, the creator faced the problem of accent because the creator is from a country where English is not the main language. Therefore, they had to use a helper to make it easier for people watching the video to understand what the creator said by using AI to make the voice recognition of the creator and then have the AI speak in the creator's own voice. The creators used a website called elevenlabs.io by uploading previously recorded audio and letting the AI clone our voice. This will give the creators an accent that is easy for everyone to hear.

Readers can watch an example in the video below and try to compare it with the previous video:
