This week, created a website to update development logs, show progress, and for the video game and in-game information, using wix.com.

Create a Game Website on wix.com

The game information was recorded, such as screenshots, project details, and blog posts, to update the progress on the website. However, more information about the game was needed to make it clear and understandable to everyone. The designer of this "wix.com" website was able to link to videos from YouTube. There was no need to upload videos to create a website. This single feature greatly improved the project, as there was no need to pay to upload them, and most websites charge a fee to upload large video files. However, on this website, just click on the video link uploaded to YouTube and the user can watch it on our website.

Then, after some trial and error on the website, The gallery system. The gallery put multiple images without taking up too much space and also to group them. The website link may have a watermark because it is free and can be modified if needed to be used for any kind of work. However, at this point, it was not necessary, so the domain name was not purchased to change the website name.

The Website Components

The website that will be made will consist of 3 main parts. The first part is the front menu, which will show what is available on the website. It will show the video above, the name of this class, and the name of the creator. The second part is the game information, which is the part that shows what type of game it is, what system is used to make it, how this system works, and some screenshots of the game. The last part will be to show the development blog, showing what has been done since the first day until the present. Some parts might be related to the game and some parts might be related to my learning. When everything is complete, all that is left is to decorate it, to make the website look as professional as possible.

How to create a good website

Sometimes people have to look at how other people build websites or what components they have. According to Netnapit (n.d.), There are 5 components of a website. The first is the header. The header is responsible for displaying the organization's logo or, in this case, the project that is currently being worked on. It may have a brief description to show what our project is about.

The second is the footer. The footer should show basic details such as contact information, phone numbers, etc. The third is the content. The content may be information from the articles that we have written. It should have images and videos so that the information is not too boring.

The fourth is that there should be a menu so that website visitors can find information faster, such as a bar to go to other menu pages. The last thing is to place spaces so that the web page looks comfortable and not too crowded.
